As part of her practice, Sheila has always taught or facilitated workshops/projects. These have encompassed many different age groups and abilities with different interests and needs. Within higher education, she has 7 years worth of experience of directing, managing and assessing performance projects - 5 of which included teaching Multi-disciplinary Performance (amongst other modules) at the University of Birmingham. Last year Sheila led a LADA DIY project for artists with fellow "Living-Roomer" Caitlin Newton-Broad. In 2010 Sheila will be mentoring artist/performance maker Victoria Pratt. Sheila also regularly facilitates artists' workshops for Pacitti Company alongside Artistic Director Robert Pacitti and Company Member Dicky Eton.
